Professional photographer John Hafner has collaborated with Covey Rise for over a decade, with photo credits appearing in scores of articles and cover photos. Hailing from western Pennsylvania and now residing in western Montana with his wife, Holly, and their two dogs, John has teamed up with many of the outdoor industry's most celebrated brands. When not photographing wildlife, magazine assignments or commercial projects, he can be found chasing roosters with Tank, his loyal Golden Retriever wingman, and exploring the backcountry in search of bucks, bulls and other wildlife photo models. A veteran traveler, John has made nearly 20 treks to Africa, and, Lord willing, plans to one day retire there.

Dogs, hunters and the country they cover, from Montana ridgelines to the high moors.
